PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide safe and accessible walking pads for pedestrians. The project consists of the construction of new sidewalk approximately 546 LF and sheet pile approximately 400 LF along the north side of Pinto Way from the limits of North Pine Hills Road to Paladin Way. The sidewalk entails a 5-foot sidewalk with 3-foot utility stripe. The upgrading of curb ramps and crossing at the Paladin Way are also included. This project is located in District 2.

Funding is available in account number 1003-072-2841-6311.
APPROVALS:
The Public Works Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Nine bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. The bid submitted by Gregori Construction Inc. is considered reasonable based on bid results, engineer's estimate, and current market conditions. The references provided were satisfactory for this type of work and Gregori Construction Inc. has been determined to be responsible. Therefore, award is recommended to Gregori Construction Inc.
