PROJECT: Streamlined Annual Public Housing Agency Plan
PURPOSE: The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires all Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to submit a Streamlined Annual PHA Plan. The Plan provides an update and progress report of the mission and goals in the 5-Year PHA Plan and consistency with the Consolidated Plan and applicable affordable housing strategies that will be implemented during the period of October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, in accordance with the requirements of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8 rental assistance). A Resident Advisory Board composed of tenants currently participating in the Section 8 program met to review the Plan on April 11, 2026. The Resident Advisory Board members did not have any objections or concerns regarding the Plan. A notice soliciting public input was published in the Orlando Sentinel on April 30, 2026.
