Approval of Amendment No. 17, Y20-1059, Safety Toed Footwear, with Safety Shoe Distributors LLP, in the estimated amount of $100,000, for a revised contract amount of $410,683.05. ([Utilities Department Fiscal and Operational Support Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This amendment adds funding to support safety toed footwear for countywide needs for the duration of the contract term, based on the County’s usage to date. The current contract term ends April 30, 2027.
FUNDING:
Delivery orders will be issued on an as-needed basis.
APPROVALS:
The Utilities Department concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On February 23,2021, the Board authorized award of Y20-1059 to Safety Shoe Distributors LLP, in the estimated contract award amount of $110,683.05, for a one-year term with further approval for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional one-year terms.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023. No amount change to the contract amount.
Amendment No. 2: Increased the contract by $20,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $130,683.05.
Amendment No.3: Increased the contract by $30,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $160,683.05.
Amendment No.4: Added line items 21-28. The contract amount remained unchanged.
Amendment No.5: Increased the contract by $50,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $210,683.05. Board approval was obtained November 29, 2022.
