The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide funds for Family Counseling in Support of the Ivey Lane and West Orange Neighborhood Centers for Families (NCF). Services will include counseling to Orange County individuals and families to aid in dealing with issues that may put them at risk for delinquency, academic failure, involvement with law enforcement, unhealthy relationships, mental health issues, poor social skills, drug use and abuse, unemployment, and other related problems. Programming will have an emphasis on prevention, and delivery of family counseling services, enabling program participants to achieve healthy functioning. The performance period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2027.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 0001-062-0404-8610.
APPROVALS:
The Citizens' Review Panel for Human Services recommended Friends of Children and Families, Inc. to receive funding to provide these services. The Citizens' Commission for Children Division (CCC) concurs with the funding recommendation. Friends of Children and Families has been working with the Orange County CCC as a service provider since 2016 and has previously been awarded funding by the CCC. The agency has demonstrated a history of satisfactory contract compliance and deliverable achievement.
