Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y25-149-KC, Towing Services, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Johnson’s Wrecker Services, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $4,777,885 for a five-year term. ([Administrative Services Department Fleet Management Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide towing services for the County's fleet of vehicles and equipment in adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 5530-043-2035-4164, 1009-034-0688-4164, and 4410-038-1025-3820.
APPROVALS:
The Fleet Management Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Three bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price. References were verified and satisfactory performance was confirmed. Johnson’s Wrecker Services, Inc. has the necessary manpower and equipment to perform this contract.
