PURPOSE:
The Board approved the ratification of Emergency Purchase Order M00000117329 on March 25, 2025, for the emergency repair of approximately 1,500 LF of 48-inch diameter force main serving the Long Lake Pump Station, located under Beggs Road between Overland Road and N. Orange Blossom Trail. This project is intended to address the leaking force main, which compromises both the operation of the pump station and the structural integrity of Beggs Road.
Murphy Pipeline Contractors, LLC has submitted a change order request, as the actual quantities required for final restoration exceeded the estimates provided in the initial proposal. The Stormwater Management Division has reviewed the change order in the amount of $176,435 and finds it acceptable.
