PROCUREMENT:
This amendment is associated with the Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) for McCulloch Road from Ken Dixon Way (formerly known as Orion Drive) to N. Tanner Road. Dewberry Engineers, Inc. will perform additional services (noise analysis) to enhance the RCA to a Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study.
* The purpose of this task is to perform a Highway Traffic Noise analysis in support of the McCulloch Road RCA and PD&E documentation. This scope establishes expectations between the County and the Consultant for compliance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) procedures and applicable federal and state regulations.
* The Clean Waterways Act was signed into law in June 2024, which implemented new stormwater rules. The rules included a grandfathering criterion, which involves public transportation projects having an approved study by June 2026. Grandfathering does not eliminate the requirements for environmental protections. We will still obtain a permit and are not bypassing environmental safeguards.
