The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is preparing to undertake a Silver Star Road (SR 438) Intersection Improvements project designated by Financial Project Number (FPN) 445696-2-52-01. The implementation of this project includes standard strain poles at the intersection of State Road 438 and Le Havre Boulevard/Coastline Drive, and at State Road 438 and Dardanelle Drive. This Agreement will upgrade the standard strain poles to galvanized mast arms at both locations.
The FDOT estimates the cost to the County for the upgrades at both intersections to $430,540. The cost breakdown can be seen in Exhibit “B”.
The Board approved a previous Locally Funded Agreement for this project, however the FDOT is requesting a new agreement be approved that specifically provides for a lump sum payment for this project.
This Locally Funded Agreement with the FDOT was reviewed and approved by the County Attorney’s Office and the Risk Management Division as to form.
