ACTION REQUESTED:

Approval of Contract Y25-2201, The Central Receiving Center System of Care, with Aspire Health Partners, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $7,360,695.71 for a one-year term. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional one-year terms. PROCUREMENT:
This contract provides continued support for a central point of access for adult individuals brought in by law enforcement and needing inpatient treatment for mental health and/or substance abuse symptoms while also expanding an integrated system of care with a diverse array of both residential and community-based services. The period of performance is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 0001-062-2504-3240 and 0001-062-2501-3240.
APPROVALS:
The Mental Health and Homelessness Division concurs with this request.
REMARKS:
In accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Part I, Chapter 17, Article III, Section 17-286 - Application and exclusions, agreements between the Board and nonprofit organizations are excluded from competitive procurement requirements.
When required by local law enforcement officers, the contract services will provide substance abuse and mental health crisis assessments at the Central Receiving Center (CRC) for adult citizens of Orange County experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis.
