Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y24-118-RM, Youth and Adult Basketball Officiating Services, to the sole responsive and responsible bidder, Game Officials, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $268,250 for the base year. Further, request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to exercise option years one and two. ([Community and Family Services Department Parks and Recreation Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide basketball officials for youth and adult basketball leagues at six recreation centers.
FUNDING:
Funding will be available in account number 1050-062-1872-3197.
APPROVALS:
The Parks and Recreation Division and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
One bid was received in response to this Invitation for Bids and was evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility and price reasonableness. The sole bidder, Game Officials, Inc., has sufficient resources to fulfil this contract. Price reasonableness was established based on a comparison to previous contract prices. Game Officials, Inc., meets all specifications and other requirements of the solicitation. Therefore, recommendation for award is made to Game Officials, Inc.
To ensure an open and competitive bid process, the Invitation for Bids was posted on the County's e-procurement portal. A query from staff to potential bidders that declined to compete on this project resulted in the following:
