Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y25-735-CC, North/South Building Exterior Show Power Improvements, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, S.A. Casey Construction, Inc., in the total contract award amount of $2,182,330.88. ([Convention Center Capital Planning and Building Systems Division] Procurement Division).

PROCUREMENT:
Work under this contract includes upgrading the exterior power and water capacity at the North/South Building parking lots and outdoor venue. The project is located in District 6.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 4430-035-0965-33-6210.
APPROVALS:
The Convention Center and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Two bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. References provided were satisfactory for this type of work and S.A. Casey Construction, Inc. has been determined to be responsible. The bid submitted by S.A. Casey Construction, Inc. is considered reasonable based on the current economic environment. Therefore, award is recommended to S.A. Casey Construction, Inc.
