The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:
This amendment increases funding to the contract to address a shortfall. The shortfall was caused by an unanticipated rise in locate tickets submitted by excavators through the State One-Call System, Sunshine One Call. Additionally, a CPI adjustment authorized under the contract contributed to the funding gap during the initial three-year term. This shortfall was partially addressed through the contract's permitted 10% funding increase; however, due to continued rise in ticket volume directly attributable to population growth within the Orange County service area, a funding shortfall is still expected to occur before the contract renewal is exercised.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 4420-038-1328-3197 and 4420-038-1347-3197.
APPROVALS:
The Field Services Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On May 22, 2023, the Board authorized award of Contract Y23-130 to High Tech Engineering Incorporated, in the estimated amount of $4,765,728 for a three-year term with further approval for Procurement Division to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms.
