The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The City of Apopka (City) has requested the County to transfer a portion of Binion Road from the County to the City. The Board approved the Interlocal Agreement regarding transfer of jurisdiction of a portion of Binion Road on September 10, 2024.
The City has now approved and executed the Agreement that transfers responsibility for maintaining that portion of Binion Road from the northern right of way of Areca Palm Drive to the southern right of way of Hayden Valley Street.
As the City has approved the agreement, we are requesting that the County Deed for that portion of Binion Road be approved and executed by the Board.
