PROCUREMENT:
This amendment adds funds for year four to continue services for the performance period of August 31, 2024 through August 30, 2025. Services to be performed include screening, navigation, and connection to mental health and related services for young children exhibiting symptoms related to social emotional needs and developmental needs. Expansion of early childhood screening is a recommendation of the Orange County Mental and Behavioral Health System of Care Community Analysis.
This funding supports four staff to provide expanded screening and navigation for young children across Orange County who are served through Community Health Centers, pediatric practices, head start, early childhood centers and self-referrals.
APPROVALS:
The Mental Health and Homelessness Division concurs with this recommendation.


REMARKS:
This is the fourth year of a four-year grant for the implementation of a comprehensive early childhood system with the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, Inc. This vendor has historically provided ...
