The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - $5,000. The mission of this organization is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. They create a culture that is smart about mental health by engaging in core strategies: funding scientific research; educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention; advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention; and supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide. This contribution will be to become a University of Central Florida (UCF) Campus Walk sponsor for the Out of Darkness Walk - Campus Walk at UCF.
