The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Aviation Noise Abatement Committee (ANAC) was established by interlocal agreement between Orange County and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) on November 1, 1977. ANAC makes recommendations for establishing noise abatement procedures and monitors the implementation of such procedures.
Orange County nominates all local government representatives for appointment to ANAC, including those from the City of Orlando and Osceola County. GOAA makes the appointments. The terms of Terrance A. Lloyd (Osceola County representative) and Gerald B. Lane (City of Orlando representative) have expired.
Osceola County has nominated Christina Morris for appointment to succeed Mr. Lloyd, and the City of Orlando has nominated Mr. Lane for reappointment with terms expiring April 4, 2029.
