PROJECT:
Memorandum of Agreement between Florida Division of Emergency Management and Orange County, Florida for Keystone Trailer Model Carbon 32

PURPOSE: The Florida Division of Emergency Management requires execution of the Memorandum of Agreement to transfer custodianship of a 2024 Keystone Trailer Model Carbon 32 to Orange County Fire Rescue. Orange County Fire Rescue is requesting approval of this agreement to support disaster response and operational readiness. This equipment will enhance the County’s ability to deploy resources during emergency incidents and support specialized teams, including communications and field operations. The trailer will be provided to the County at no acquisition cost; however, the County will assume responsibility for all maintenance, repair, and operational costs upon acceptance. The equipment will be accepted in “as-is” condition, and the County will utilize it in a manner that supports operational needs and emergency response capabilities. The County Attorney’s Office and Orange County Fire Rescue have reviewed this agreement and recommend approval.
