PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will provide additional funds for programming to assist Orange County youth, ages 16-19, in making strategic career choices by exposing them to career experiences through paid internships. Through immersive employment experiences and career training, programming will expose youth to careers that align with their interests while also building valuable professional skills, including communication, self-advocacy and the ability to effectively work with others in a professional setting.
Under this contract, Career Source is currently providing satisfactory services, and programmatic monitoring has demonstrated contract compliance. The additional funding will be sourced from Children's Services Rollover Funding and must be utilized by the conclusion of the contract year, ending December 31, 2026. The additional funding will result in an additional 50,000 hours of direct services and an estimated 420 Orange County youth served.
APPROVALS:
