PROJECT: N/A

PURPOSE:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise ("Department"), and Orange County ("County") wish to enter into a Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

The Department's adopted Work Program includes the following two projects:

Project 1 (Financial Project Number (FPN): 406090-5) generally includes, but is not limited to, widening SR 528; bridge and ramp widenings; traffic control plans; mechanically stabilized earth walls and retaining walls; guardrail and barrier installations; cross-drain replacements and extensions; drainage pipes and structures; stormwater management facilities; sidewalks; fencing; signage; roadway lighting; intelligent transportation system (ITS) adjustments; temporary works; utility adjustments; and earthwork. This Agreement defines the County's responsibilities related to improvements constructed by FDOT on International Drive and Universal/Orangewood Boulevard.

Project 2 (FPN 449465-1) generally includes, but is not limited to, the widening of the eastbound exit ramp from SR 528 to CR 423 (John Young Parkway); construction of operational and safety improvements for southbound CR 423 to Taft Vineland Road; merge lanes; turn lanes; ramp widenings; traffic control plans; guardrails and barriers; drainage and stormwater management improvements; signage; roadway lighting; ITS adjustments; traffi...
