The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:
This purchase order procures a new roof system at the Apopka Service Center, located at 1111 Rock Springs Road, Apopka, Florida 32712. The system will create a durable, seamless, and non-porous roof barrier able to withstand ponding water, harsh ultraviolet rays, and extreme weather conditions. The system comes with a 50-year leak-proof warranty.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1023-043-2052-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Facilities Management Division Concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
This purchase order will restore the Apopka Service Center roof that is at the end of its life cycle and is displaying water intrusion. Traditional roofing systems would need design and tear out of the existing roof creating additional waste to the landfill. Traditional roof restoration processes would take at least two years to achieve allowing additional water intrusion which would potentially cost more and need additional funds to repair the damage.

Facilities Management has confirmed that EverSeal's roofing system is the only contractor providing a 50-year labor and material warranty. Traditional roofing systems are costlier, costing between $5 to $65 per square foot depending on complexity of the roof.
