PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide fire alarm system monitoring, inspections, and maintenance for Orange County utility facilities.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 4420-038-1310-3810, 4420-038-1359-3810, 4420-038-1301-3810, 4410-038-1013-3810, 4410-038-1031-3810, 4410-038-1034-3810, and 4410-038-1016-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Utilities Department concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Five bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility and price reasonableness. Century Fire Protection, Convergint Technologies, ILVS, LLC, and Simple Fire, LLC were deemed non-responsible based on the results of the reference checks. Signature Systems of Florida has a satisfactory record of performance and possesses the required license to perform the services. Therefore, the award is recommended to Signature Systems of Florida.
