The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROJECT:
Streamlined Annual PHA Plan 

 

PURPOSE: The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires all Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to submit a Streamlined Annual PHA Plan (“Plan”). The Plan identifies the housing strategies that will be implemented during the period of October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, in accordance with the requirements of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8 rental assistance).  A Resident Advisory Board comprised of tenants currently participating in the Section 8 program met to review the Plan on April 25, 2024.  The Resident Advisory Board members had no objections or concerns regarding the Plan.  

A notice soliciting public input was published in the Orlando Sentinel on May 2, 2024.  There were no comments received during the 45-day public comment period.  Additionally, a public hearing was conducted June 19, 2024, with our Community Development Advisory Board to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the Plan.
