The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:
Work under this contract consists of in repair steel beam deficiencies and recoat the steel members at this bridge site. Specific bridge improvements include replacement of all neoprene bearing pads; replacement of corroded bearing stiffeners, anchor bolts and steel sole plates; strengthening of beam webs; corrosion and existing coating removal; and recoating of structural steel members. The work will be performed within the existing Orange County right-of-way. This project is located in District 6.

Funding is available in account number 1004-072-2912-3816.
APPROVALS:
The Roads and Drainage Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
The L.B. McLeod Bridge 755800 steel open girder beams, steel diaphragms, sole plates and anchor bolts of the bridge superstructure shows accelerated corrosion and heavy peeling of paint. The steel bearing plates under those steel beams at both abutments and intermediate bent caps exhibit heavy delaminating corrosion and serious section loss of the anchor bolts and sole plates.
