The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide a cold mix asphalt product similar in appearance and performance to hot mix asphalt to be used for repair of asphalt and concrete surfaces.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 4420-038-1347-4160.
APPROVALS:
The Utilities Department and the Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
One bid was received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and evaluated for responsiveness and responsibility. The bidder has a satisfactory record of performance as the current contract holder, and as confirmed by the references submitted.
Historically, bidder participation for this type of contract has been limited with fewer bidders responding over time. The specialized material required consists of multiple components with costs that fluctuate frequently and are restricted by region. Research indicates that the only supplier in Florida for the specific type of cold mix asphalt required by Orange County is Duval Asphalt Products, Inc. Additionally, pricing trends indicate a significant cost increase for the necessary materials.
