PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of November 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027 to allow for the completion of ongoing program evaluations, development of a comprehensive countywide micromobility program, and a smooth transition to a new contract. Projected revenue to the County generated for the extension time frame is approximately $54,750.
FUNDING:
This is a revenue generating contract. Funds are to be deposited to the individual department's accounting lines every 90 days.
APPROVALS:
The Traffic Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On April 26, 2023, the Board selected Neutron Holdings, Inc. DBA Lime and authorized the Procurement Division to execute a one-year contract, with the option to exercise two additional one-year renewals, for the implementation and operation of on-demand micromobility device systems, including the provision and management of electric scooter and/or electric bicycle fleets that comply with all applicable statutory and County requirements and are available for short-term public rental.
