The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The County’s Mental Health and Homelessness Division has identified a duplication of efforts between the Central Receiving Center Governing Board and the Gaps Implementation Team, both of which were created by the Orange County Mayor in 2002 and 2023, respectively. The Board approved the recommendation to dissolve the CRC Governing Board and Gaps Implementation Team and creating a new, single board to be called the Orange County System of Care Commission on August 26, 2025. This Resolution adds two voting members for a total of 22 voting members to include the Chief Executive Officer of the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida, Inc. and the President/Chief Executive Officer of Aspire Health Partners, Inc., as both entities are vital to the Orange County System of Care.
