PROCUREMENT:
The project involves improving eastbound Corporate Boulevard by widening it to add a turn lane. The project spans approximately 780 feet of the eastbound Corporate Boulevard approach and includes all four quadrants of the Corporate Boulevard and Alafaya Trail intersection, with a total project length of 962 linear feet (0.182 miles).
The project includes but is not limited to the following improvements:
* Roadway construction and widening
* Construction of curb and gutter
* Sidewalk and curb ramp construction
* Milling and resurfacing
* Removal and replacement of existing inlets
* Placement of new inlets and storm pipes
* Removal of existing strain poles
* Installation of new mast arms and signal improvements
* Placement of signage and pavement markings
The project is located in District 5.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 7538-072-7374-6311 and 1003-072-2722-6311. This project is federally funded through the Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program.
APPROVALS:
The Public Works Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.
