The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE:
Approve and execute the Special Magistrate Agreements
BACKGROUND:
Members of the 2026 VAB met on June 12, 2026, to appoint qualified Special Magistrates to serve for the 2026 tax cycle. Since then, Special Magistrates have signed and provided the Special Magistrate Agreement to perform his/her services pursuant to the provisions of Sections 194.034 and 194.035, Florida Statues, applicable provisions of the Florida Administrative Code and Florida law.
