PROJECT: Non-Substantial Deviation Amendment to Development Order for the Quadrangle Development of Regional Impact Case #DO-24-06-143 / District 5 (Related to Change Determination Request CDR-23-09-293 and Small Scale Amendment SS-24-04-004)
PURPOSE: The Quadrangle Development of Regional Impact (DRI) and Development Order (DO) were originally approved by the Board on November 5, 1984, and the property is generally located south of Corporate Boulevard, west of North Alafaya Trail, north of University Boulevard, and east of Quadrangle Boulevard. The DRI and associated Planned Development (PD) are currently approved for a mix of commercial, office, hotel, multi-family residential, and student housing entitlements.
Through this request, the applicant is seeking to update the DO to reflect the conversion of 105,039 square feet of office to 640 student housing beds consistent with Quadrangle PD amendment case CDR-23-09-293. This change determination to the Quadrangle PD (CDR-23-09-293) was recommended for approval by the Development Review Committee (DRC) on July 10, 2024.
This proposed amendment to the DO is to reflect the changes requested as part of the PD amendment. This amendment received a recommendation of approval from the DRC on July 24, 2024.
