The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PURPOSE:
The Orlo Vista Neighborhood Drainage Project requires Modification #3 ("MOD#3") to FEMA's HMGP subgrant agreement to allow for final project closeout and funding reimbursement. Note that this project was substantially completed on August 28, 2025, and this modification is to extend the project performance period only.

Prior actions for this project include the Board approval on April 5, 2022, of the Memorandum of Agreement between the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and Orange County for the Orlo Vista Neighborhood Drainage Project Phase 2 - Construction. The Federal funding consisted of $7,288,637.92. The Contract was executed on April 19, 2022.

The Board approval on August 22, 2023, the Memorandum of Modification Number One to Subgrant Agreement, to increase the total funding amount by $10,738.126.83. Also, Sub-recipient Management Costs were included for this project in the amount of $400,000. for a maximum payable under the Agreement to $18,026,764.75.

Additionally, the Board approved on May 21, 2024, the Memorandum of Modification Number Two to extend the period of performance from February 28, 2024, to October 31, 2025.
