The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Aviation Noise Abatement Committee (ANAC) was established by interlocal agreement between Orange County and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) on November 1, 1977. ANAC makes recommendations for establishing noise abatement procedures and monitors the implementation of such procedures. Orange County nominates all local government representatives for appointment, including those from the City of Orlando and Osceola County. GOAA makes the appointments. Terms are for four years.
There is one vacancy on ANAC in the representative of Orange County East of Goldenrod Road category. Commissioner Gomez Cordero would like to nominate John L. Maniscalco for appointment in this category with a term expiring April 4, 2029.
