The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: Staff is requesting approval of an additional $50,000 to be disbursed to the National Center for Simulation to support efforts to stop the current administration’s efforts to relocate installations currently located in the Orange County Research Park. This effort will include community and coalition building to support the existing Metro Orlando Defense Task Force advocacy.
