PROCUREMENT:
County asset 87071, a 2012 Capacity Model TJ7000, is used at the Porter Transfer Station to maneuver loaded and empty trailers across various locations within the site. Having accumulated over 10,000 operating hours, it has reached the end of its service life. To replace it, the Solid Waste Division is procuring a 2025 Capacity TJ5000 DOT Terminal.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 4410-038-1031-6430 and 4410-038-1025-3820.
APPROVALS:
The Solid Waste Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
The Solid Waste Division initiated a request for quotes resulting in three responsive and responsible quotes. Staff evaluation confirmed that the pricing is fair and reasonable. Therefore, Cumberland International Trucks, Inc. is recommended for award.
