Approval and execution of Art in the Chambers Loan and Exhibition Agreement by and between Orange County, Florida and Dorothy M. Gillespie Foundation for the period of September 8, 2026, through January 29, 2027. (Arts and Cultural Affairs Office)

PURPOSE: Three times a year our office borrows art from institutions and art owners that fit one of the following categories: 1) from major collections in the area, 2) from artists who have lived or worked in Orange County and have a national reputation, or 3) from artists whose work fits a particular theme. The Dorothy M. Gillespie Foundation has agreed to extend their loan of a selection from their collection for exhibition in the Chambers from September 8, 2026, through January 29, 2027. This agreement was reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office and Risk Management Division.
