The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROJECT: Recommended Projects and Budgets for Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery

 

PURPOSE: On January 9, 2024, the Board approved a Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Action Plan that included an analysis of unmet and mitigation needs, a summary of citizen input and engagement, general program requirements, and the County’s budget for the CDBG-DR Program. The County issued requests for applications on August 24, 2025, for public facilities, housing programs, and for the planning program.  All applications received were evaluated and scored by an evaluation committee, with members consisting of various county departments and divisions. The projects recommended for funding were presented to the Community Development Advisory Board on December 17, 2025. 

Board approval is requested for the recommended CDBG-DR projects and budgets.   After completion of environmental reviews, and capacity and risk assessments for the selected projects, we anticipate subrecipient agreements with the agencies to be ready for board approval in the fall of 2026.
