PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: The Florida Department of Transportation and Florida Central Railroad, LLC. (“Company”) propose to enter into a Railroad Reimbursement Agreement to facilitate upgrades to the existing grade crossing traffic control device at FDOT/AAR Crossing No. 622364T, located on Silver Star Road east of US 441. Under the terms of the Agreement, the Company will provide all necessary materials and install Automatic Grade Crossing Signals (Type III, Class II) and/or other appropriate traffic control devices at the specified location.
Upon completion of the installation, the County will be responsible for 50 percent of the ongoing signal maintenance.
The County Attorney’s Office and Risk Management Division have reviewed the Agreement and find it acceptable as to form.
