The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROJECT: Work Session Item Tourist Development Tax (TDT) Funding and Future Allocations
PURPOSE: On August 25, 2026, the Co-Chairs of the Tourist Development Tax (TDT) Citizen Advisory Task Force along with staff presented the Task Force’s Final Report and recommendations as well as a financial capacity analysis on projected future available TDT funds. The Board voted to accept the Task Force recommendations and requested further analysis for applicants, not previously reviewed, and potential project funding scenarios.
Analysis was conducted on projects not previously reviewed, and staff have developed a proposed funding scenario based on recommendations by the TDT Citizen Advisory Task Force and input from the Board.
