PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide maintenance and repair services for eight emergency generators at the OCCC West Concourse.
FUNDING:
Funds are available in account number 4430-035-0922-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Orange County Convention Center and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Six bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility and reasonableness. Accurate Power Technology, Inc. successfully meets the requirements outlined in the solicitation, and all references affirmed satisfactory performance. Price reasonableness was established based on line- item evaluation from the prior contract, adjusted for inflation.
Cummins, Inc. was deemed non-responsive for adding terms to their bid. Genserve, Inc. was deemed non-responsive for failing to sign the irrevocable offer contained in the IFB. Arawak Equipment LLC. and Nixon Power Services were deemed non-responsible for failing to meet the reference requirements contained in the IFB.
