PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide construction engineering and inspection services to upgrade existing signal cabinets to latest standards to improve traffic efficiency and safety. This project is located in all districts.

FUNDING:

This project is federally funded through the Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program.

APPROVALS:

The Public Works Traffic Engineering Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

Two proposals were received in response to this Request for Proposals (RFP) and were evaluated in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFP. The proposal from HBC Engineering Company scored too low for Board consideration.

The proposals were evaluated by the Procurement Committee on October 16, 2024. Commissioner Mayra Uribe was assigned to the Procurement Committee.

The consensus scores of the Procurement Committee are attached.
