The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROJECT: N/A

 

PURPOSE: The City of Orlando requested funding from the County Retained Vessel Fee (CRV) funds to make improvements to the City’s public boat ramp at Lake Fairview Park.  On September 1, 2020, the Board approved funding to the City of Orlando for the requested $300,000 to improve and renovate the boat ramp at Lake Fairview Park. Staff recommended providing CRV funds to the City of Orlando. 

 

The City of Orlando did not spend CRV funds and is requesting an extension of no later than May 31, 2026, to complete the projects.

 

CRV funds are collected from boat registration fees and provided to local governments to improve and/or increase boating opportunities for citizens.  The County may provide this funding to local municipalities for boating enhancement projects only.  The estimated annual funds collected are $140,000.  The current balance in the funds for FY 2025 is $1.9 million.
