PROJECT:
Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc. 

 

PURPOSE: On August 8, 2023, the Board approved the 2023-2024 Annual Action Plan for housing and community development programs and activities funded through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Action Plan utilizes some of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to support housing projects and activities for low- to moderate-income individuals. More specifically, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc. was awarded $670,000 in CDBG funds to continue implementation of the Roof Replacement Program that will replace deteriorating roofs on up to 40 homes owned by qualified very low, low, and moderate-income households.  

Subrecipient Agreements must be executed with the non-profit agencies providing public services and/or housing. The agreement has been reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office as to form.
