PROJECT:
State-Funded Grant Agreement FY 2024 Emergency Preparedness and Assistant Grant, Agreement No: A0460

 

PURPOSE: The State of Florida Division of Emergency Management awarded Orange County the FY 2024 State-Funded Emergency Preparedness and Assistance Grant (EMPA) in the amount of $105,806. This fund will be available July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.  The EMPA is an annual grant that allows Orange County to continue preparing, implementing, evaluating, and revising our Emergency Management Program. Orange County will be reimbursed for costs incurred in the satisfactory performance of work in an amount not to exceed $105,806.   In accordance with the FY 2024 EMPA Agreement, Exhibit 2-EM Director Certification, Orange County will annually certify its commitment to employ and maintain a full-time Emergency Management Director in order to receive EMPA funding.
