The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

The Lifeboat Project - $5,000.
This organization’s mission is to empower the lives of survivors through long-term aftercare, residential programs, and education.  The program facilitates a comprehensive, trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach to long-term care.  They offer a multi-faceted solution to housing survivors of human trafficking through safe house, transitional homes, and lifelong care.  The contribution will be used to combat human trafficking in Central Florida.  The Yacht Rock Gala will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs.

The Finley Project - $1,500. The Finley Project is an organization committed to providing care for mothers who have experienced the unimaginable - the loss of an infant.  Their devoted team provides a lifeline for mothers in the minutes, hours and days after infant loss through a 7-Part Holistic Program that supports each mother physically, emotionally, and spiritually at no financial cost to them.  The 11th Annual Celebration of Life Gala “Night at the Museum” will be held on October 12, 2024, in Winter Park, Florida.
