PROCUREMENT:

This amendment adds funds in response to the inflationary impacts on materials for vehicle parts and additional maintenance including 78 Fire Transport Rescues, of which 49 have over 200,000 miles.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 5530-043-2035-4163.

APPROVALS:

The Fleet Management Division concurs with this request.

REMARKS:

On March 21, 2023, the Board authorized the award of Contract Y23-121 to Orlando Cars One, LLC dba Orlando Dodge Jeep RAM, in the estimated contract award amount of $430,800 for a three-year term with two additional one-year renewals.

This contract services Dodge/RAM vehicles with original equipment parts, including 78 Fire Transport Rescues.  These units account for a significant portion of this contract use due to their age, mileage, and 24/7 usage.

Previous contract amendments are as follows:

                     Amendment No. 1: Added funds in the amount of $400,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $830,800. Board approval was obtained on May 21, 2024.
