Approval of Contract Y24-2226, Hospital-Based Registered Nurse Coordinated Opioid Recovery Program, with Orlando Health, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $220,000 for a one-year term. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms. PROCUREMENT:
This contract will increase access to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), mental health treatment, and social support services for individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Residents who live in Orange Couty with an Opioid Use Disorder and/or any other co-occurring substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions are eligible to receive services through this program as well as priority populations which include individuals recently released from incarceration, individuals recently discharged from inpatient treatment, and individuals who have had an overdose/NARCAN administration incident. The funding for this agreement will assist in securing hospital-based Registered Nurses for the CORe Program who will be responsible for providing treatment services to eligible clients. The performance period is upon execution of the contract through June 30, 2025.
