The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Biography:
|
Mr. Douglas is a resident of Orange County District 2. He is a graduate of Florida Southern College. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and has 31 years of municipal government experience. He has worked for the City of Orlando as a Budget Analysis and Internal Auditor, City of Largo as the Internal Auditor and Intern Finance Officer, and City of Apopka as the Finance Director and City Administrator. Additionally, he was a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Florida for 10 years. He is currently retired and volunteers for Apopka High School and Treasurer for the Apopka Historical Society.
