The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Mr. Suarez is an attorney admitted to practice in 1974 in New York and 1992 in Florida. He is a former Florida state legislator and adjunct professor of law. He was appointed by Governor Childs and subsequently by Governor Bush to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 18th Judicial District. He was appointed by Governor Bush to the Florida Equity in Education Opportunity Task Force. Mr. Suarez is a former CPT, United States Army Military Intelligence Corp, CEO, of Legal Services Clinic of Puerto Rican Bar Assn., Inc. and former President of Puerto Rican Bar Assn. of Florida. He is the President of Suarez Law Group P.A.
