The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Biography:

Ms. Melvin moved to Orlando 28 years ago after graduating from USC with a BA in Media Arts. She has been the Human Resources Director for Wyndham LBV Resort since 2005. As the mother of a teenage son, she has served as PTA/PTSA President for four years, on School Advisory Councils for 11 years, and is a graduate of the 2013 class of Leadership Orange. She is a current board member of the League of Women Voters Orange County and has a passion for education and politics.
