County Mayor Demings welcomed the attendees to the budget work session and outlined the  
County departments' process of presenting their budget reports.  
COUNTYWIDE BUDGET OVERVIEW  
overview of the agenda for the work sessions; presented a revenue outlook  
for Fiscal Year 2024/2025; outlined the departments’ presentations; and  
outlined the work session timelines. Board discussion ensued. County  
Administrator Brooks contributed to the discussion.

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT  
and budget report. Raymond Williams, Manager, Engineering Division,  
Public Works Department, presented an update and budget report on the  
Capital Improvement Program. Board discussion ensued. Deputy County  
Administrator Jon Weiss and County Administrator Brooks contributed to the  
discussion.

COMMUNITY AND FAMILY SERVICES  
presented an update and budget report. Matt Suedmeyer, Manager, Parks  
and Recreation Division, Community and Family Services Department,  
presented department updates and budget report on the Parks and  
Recreation Capital Improvement Program. Isabelle Klier-Graham, Manager,  
Mental Health and Homelessness Division, Community and Family Services  
Department, presented department updates and initiatives relating to the  
homeless efforts. Board discussion ensued. Kurt Petersen, Director, Office  
of Management and Budget, County Administrator Brooks, and Lavon  
Williams, Deputy Director, Community and Family Services Department,  
contributed to the discussion.

PLANNING, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT  
Department, presented an update and budget report. Board discussion  
ensued. Jason Reynolds, Manager, Neighborhood Services Division,  
Planning, Environmental, and Development Services Department, and  
County Administrator Brooks contributed to the discussion.  
The Board took no action.

quasi-judicial hearing should be disclosed on the record or made a part of the record
